“My Son Jeep,” was an OTR Juvenile Sitcom, which aired on NBC radio from January 25, 1953 thru June 14, 1953. July 04 thru September 22 of the same year, it was also broadcast on TV. Although very short-lived on both NBC Radio & Television, “My Son Jeep” was given a re-birth October 03, 1955 when it was brought back as a weeknight 15-minute show, on CBS Radio; it lasted only one more year, the last episode airing November 09, 1956.
SYNOPSIS:
Jeffrey (JEEP) Allison, starring both Martin Huston & Bobby Alford, was your typical, overly-rambunctious, 10-year old boy. Very well known for the mischief he could get himself into, Jeep was the youngest of two children (his older 13 year-old sister was Peggy) of widower & small-town doctor, Robert Allison (played by Donald Cook & Paul McGrath on radio & Jeffrey Lynn on TV).
