An American in England was a docu-drama broadcast during & about World War II and the story of Norman Corwin’s visit to wartime Britain.
Asked by CBS to observe & report on the character and hardships of a nation under siege, the 10 episode Docu-drama is what became of the trip.
The program is listed as a short 10 Episode program. However, within Episode “006”, the announcer states clearly that it is a short 6 Episode program. For that reason,the numbering system may be inaccurate.
This is a very interesting program and well worth the listen.
